How can I get the “interviewed” badge on my bubble profile?
bubble is a review-driven platform, and parents tend to want to book sitters with great reviews already on their profiles.
This can make it quite difficult for a babysitter to get their first sit on the app - particularly in areas where bubble is already extremely popular with active sitters.
There are a few great tactics that sitters use to get themselves off and running (read them here) and one of the ways we try and help is by offering new sitters on the app the opportunity to come in for an interview at bubble’s West London HQ. Sitters who do this - and pass - get the “interviewed” badge on their bubble profile, which can help in getting that all important first sit.
Am I eligible to come in for an interview?
Any sitter that hasn’t yet completed a sit on bubble is eligible to book themselves in for an interview with bubble team.
How do I book an interview slot?
You may book an interview slot via the bubble Calendly platform here.
Simply pick a date and time that works for you and confirm.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
You’ll need to bring your valid photo ID (passport, national ID card or driver’s licence) and proof of address (utility bill, letter addressed to you, bank statement) to the interview.
If you have any additional documents that you think might support your profile then feel free to bring them in as well. These might be, but are not limited to DBS checks, childcare certificates, or first aid certificates.
My friend is also a sitter on the app. Can we come to an interview together?
Yes. If you and your friend wish to be interviewed together, please book an interview slot as per usual and please email us to let us know about it. We do, though, limit the number for interviewees to 2 at any one time.
Is this only available to London-based sitters?
Right now, we’re only holding these at our London-HQ but do plan to do the same in other cities in the near future. If you’re not London-based but happen to be nearby, then of course come in and say hi!
