Every new sitter registering on bubble goes through an automatic ID check.
The ID check is automated and run in real-time during the registration process.
This check is performed by a third party provider called GBG Plc.
Sometimes, due to various reasons ( e.g. if you moved address recently), the automatic ID check cannot be completed.
If this is the case, you receive an automatic email from bubble notifying you.
This email will ask you to send in three photos in order to manually verify your identity.
In order to clear the ID check and have your account activated, you will need to provide bubble with following three pictures:
- A close-up picture of your face (in clear view, no hats or masks!)
- A close-up picture of the photo ID page of your passport or driving licence and;
- A close-up picture of you holding the photo ID page of your passport/driving licence next to their face.
If we receive these, your account will be manually verified within hours.
